The Syrian Coalition accused the Assad regime of "being responsible for the Israeli attack on Syrian soil," and described the regime’s policies as seeking “to weaken the Syrian state and leave it wide open to blatant aggressions" by the country’s enemies. This comes after the air raid launched by the Israeli occupation on one of the military bases of the Syrian army in Latakia on the Syrian coast. The Coalition also criticized the regime for “turning a blind eye to the repeated attacks by Israel that violate all meanings of defiance and resistance," as defined by the Assad regime. The Syrian Coalition also expressed its “disappointment at the international community’s weak stance towards continuous violations by the Assad regime and the Israeli occupation, both of which aim to implement certain goals." The Syrian Coalition also calls on the Security Council and the international community to protect the Syrian people from Assad’s killing machine. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
