Tehran, August 21, IRNA – Iranian Director Iraj Tahmaseb's Red Hat and Spoiled Boy set a box office record in a single day by collecting 1,O70 million rials from 23 move theaters in Tehran Sunday night
The puppet show movie set the new record despite the fact that cinema theaters belonging to Tehran Municipality and its Arts Bureau refused to sacreen the film.
The movie has had a cumulative box office sale of 2,610 million rials since it hit silver screens in Tehran on Friday.
Some 23 movie theaters in Tehran are now showing the movie produced by Filmiran cinematic company.
