Beirut/O.M.-The Syrian Coalition urges the international community to exercise the R2P protocol of the United Nations and protect the Syrian people. Assad’s regime is using its military killing machines, including chemical weapons and internationally prohibited weapons to systematically kill civilians.

The Syrian Coalition reiterates the need for the General Staff of the FSA to be able to neutralize the threat of aerial bombardments and to establish a no-fly zone over populated areas in Syria.
Assad’s regime has, again, committed a massacre in the city of Saraqeb, Idlib where Assad’s forces launch airstrikes against civilians in the city. Assad’s aircrafts are dropping cluster bombs, phosphorus bombs, and explosive barrel bombs killing innocent civilians including women and children.
