Tehran, Sept 2, IRNA – Nargesi oil field’s output capacity will rise by 120 million barrels following injection of gas to the field
Oil executive operating under supervision of Iranian National South Oil Company said that 19 million cubic feet of associated gases are injected to the field a day.
The project costs rls 400 billion to be financed by National Iranian South Oil Company.
Experts believe gas injection to Nargesi oil field will facilitate oil extraction and improve the volume of output by almost 120 million barrels.
Nargesi oil field located 30 kilometers north of Borazjan town in Bushehr province was discovered in 1977.
Gachsaran Oil and Gas Exploration Company, a subsidiary of the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) is in charge of development of the field.
