Tabriz, July 8, IRNA – The tactical drills of air defense unit of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army begun in northwestern Iran.

The drills began at 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning with the purpose of preparing the equipment and human resources.

The spokesman of tactical maneuvers said that the main goal of the tactical drills is to nullify psychological effects of propaganda by regional media against IR Iran.

Brigadier General Shahrokh Shahram said that the forces of the hypothetical enemy launched heavy wave of psychological operations against the local forces and they intended to create havoc in the region by creating a chaotic atmosphere and spreading lies about the existing problems.

He noted that the foreign forces continued to their psychological warfare through television network, satellite systems, regional media and the existing institutions.
