Madrid, April 24, IRNA -- Universidad Complutense de Madrid plans to organize a seminar on Persian language in September, said Iran’s cultural attaché in Madrid, Amir Pourpezeshk

In a meeting with head of the university’s Islam and Arab Department, Juan Martus, he discussed his scientific and educational cooperation with the university’s literature faculty.

He also voiced Iranian Cultural Office’s readiness to provide the department with the materials on Persian language and Iranian and Islamic studies.

Martus welcomed his proposals to run refreshing courses on Persian language for students of the university, paving the ground for them to visit Iran and holding the seminar in September.

Pourpezeshk further noted, “We have not yet managed to fully utilize the existing capacities in line with promoting cultural and scientific interactions.”

“We have a long way ahead to reach the desired goal,” he said.
